Penny Godfrey
On graduating from Leicester University with a degree in English Literature, Penny Godfrey went into retail management, where she spent 14 years working in regional and national roles for companies such as Marks & Spencer and Estee Lauder.
Penny has recently returned to work after taking five years out to look after her young family. Having completed the Institute of Copywriting course, Penny joined the Writers team in October 2008. Since then, she has been involved in projects for companies such as AXA, Royal Mail, the National Portrait Gallery, Unilever, the Environment Agency, Triodos and Panasonic. She has also written web articles and journalistic pieces for Writers Australia.
