Fixed quote
We like to provide a fixed cost for a project or different parts of a project.
To provide an accurate quote we need to know some basic facts about the work:
- Does the relevant source material exist, or will we be meeting people or interviewing people to get it?
- If we are working with existing documents or source material, could we see it, or a selection of it before quoting?
- Will we need to attend meetings? If so, approximately how many?
- When is the deadline?
- What format are we working to (e.g. page count) and to what level of detail?
- Who is the audience?
